The Black/African American Cultural Center hosts an annual CSU Homecoming Royalty Pageant, which showcases Black Excellence and demonstrates that beauty comes in all sizes, shapes, and colors. More importantly, Blackness and Intersectionality are beyond external, they truly are internal. It is about one’s mind, body, and soul. During the pageant, we stress the importance of one’s character and inner beauty through interviews, beachwear, talent and formal wear.
