We are B/AACC in action! We offer a variety of Fall Welcome Programs for you to learn more about the B/AACC Office and opportunities for connection.

August 19, 2026 | 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m | B/AACC Homegrown

Join us for Homegrown, the Black/African American Cultural Center’s community welcome lunch celebrating first-year and transfer students and their families. This gathering is an opportunity to connect with B/AACC staff, meet fellow students and families, and explore campus resources rooted in student support, cultural celebration, and African diasporic education.

Visit the six Cultural Resource Centers! Come meet B/AACC Staff, learn about getting involved in the center, learn about student orgs supported in our center, and meet new friends! All are welcome and invited, and we can’t wait to see you there!

The Lory Student Center (LSC) and Cultural Resource Centers (CRCs) are excited to celebrate a new year and welcome our new Rams at Ramapalooza! Have fun and create community by joining us for live music, arcade games, crafts, axe throwing (must wear closed-toed shoes to participate), glow-in-the-dark putt-putt, and more! Don’t miss out on free snacks, prizes, and a great time! Join B/AACC for an evening of games and karaoke!

Real Talk is an intentional space where students, faculty, and staff are welcome to share their voice in a variety of relevant discussions about the African Diasporic experience.

Join B/AACC for community connection time! Good food, music, and vibes! Let’s usher in the new school year the best way we know how!

Transportation is provided for students.
