Student Development & Support
We serve as advocates for students as they navigate the college experience while challenging the status quo by promoting an inclusive positive learning environment that fosters the success and development of all students.
Diversity & Social Justice Education
We encourage an environment that allows students to foster inclusivity and gain a deeper understanding of intersectionality in order to create a transformative experience at CSU while preparing for life after graduation.
Cultural Education & Celebration
Celebrating cultural diversity promotes creativity, education, and collaboration. We provide opportunities to take pride in our individual differences while celebrating our collective similarities congruently.
40th Annual In Pursuit of Excellence Awards Ceremony!
April 28th, 3-5 pm, Grand Ballroom
This program has been in existence for the past 39 years. The program is designed to acknowledge and recognize the accomplishments of Black and African American students, both academically and as student leaders. The program also recognizes the accomplishments of individuals in the community (as well as alumni) who have played an integral role in the success of African American students and the Black/African American Cultural Center.
Connecting With B/AACC
We know that anti-blackness is prevalent in our society and we are committed to advocating and empowering our students to live in their truth while persisting and resisting “by any means necessary.” We look forward to engaging with new and returning students in this new normal and reminding them that #wegotyourbaacc
